This is a very small bathroom in Coundon in Coventry that we have converted to a shower room with vanity storage. This is a great example to demonstrate that virtually any bathroom can be transformed into a shower room with vanity basin storage. Below is the drawing of the bathroom before the work was carried out. It shows the size of 163cm long and 165cm wide. This really is a very small bathroom.
Transforming a small bathroom into a shower room, there is not many options for layout. We have opted for a 80cm by 100cm off set quadrant shower and a 50cm vanity basin. This will leave a small space so the outside area of the shower screen between the vanity basin and shower enclosure can be cleaned. Below is the drawing of the new shower room that we designed.

This is a bathroom measuring 140cm wide by 240cm long. The bathroom shape is long and narrow with the toilet coming down the left wall with the basin at the end of the bath. The clients requested that we turn it in to a shower room. The only way we could achieve this was be changing the position of the toilet to the right hand wall. The basin remained in the same position. Below is the before bathroom design and the shower room design that we created.
The shower enclosure is 900mm by 1200mm.
The total cost of this bathroom to shower room renovation £5700 (bathroom supplied fitted £5350 + electrics £350)

This is a bathroom that we have converted to a mobility bathroom. It is a small bathroom. The image below shows the orginal bathroom
We designed the bathroom to include a long walk in shower.
As a small bathroom we had to use a small pedestal basin. The drawing below shows the walk in shower room that we designed, the clients agreed and we fitted.
There is a comfort height toilet, walk in shower with fixed screen. The shower is a Triton Omnicare shower with a remote start and stop button for the shower. This will allow the user to warm up the shower before they step inside. It will also help any careers if they need to assist the user while in the shower.
We also fitted hand rails.
